Kelloggs Fruit n Fibre

Kellogg’s Fruit n Fibre is a classic breakfast cereal loved for its delicious combination of crunchy flakes, juicy fruits, and hearty nuts. With its satisfying texture and flavorful mix-ins, Fruit n Fibre offers a tasty and nutritious start to the day.

At the heart of Kellogg’s Fruit n Fibre are the crispy wheat flakes. These flakes provide a wholesome base for the cereal, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite. Made from whole grain wheat, they are a good source of fiber, which is essential for digestive health and overall well-being.

What sets Fruit n Fibre apart from other cereals is its generous mix of dried fruits and nuts. Each bowl is packed with a colorful array of sweet raisins, tangy sultanas, chewy apricots, and crunchy almonds. This combination not only adds flavor and texture but also provides additional nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats.

The dried fruits in Fruit n Fibre are not only delicious but also contribute natural sweetness to the cereal, reducing the need for added sugars. This makes it a healthier choice for those looking to limit their sugar intake while still satisfying their sweet cravings. Plus, the vibrant colors of the fruits add visual appeal to the cereal, making it even more enticing.

In addition to the fruits, Fruit n Fibre also contains a variety of nuts, including almonds. Nuts are a nutrient-dense food, rich in healthy fats, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals. They provide a satisfying crunch and add depth of flavor to the cereal, making each spoonful more enjoyable.

One of the key benefits of Kellogg’s Fruit n Fibre is its high fiber content. Fiber is important for digestive health, helping to regulate bowel movements and prevent constipation. It also promotes a feeling of fullness, which can help with weight management by reducing overall calorie intake.

Furthermore, the combination of fiber, fruits, and nuts in Fruit n Fibre provides a balanced mix of carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats, making it a well-rounded breakfast option. This nutrient balance helps to keep energy levels stable throughout the morning, preventing mid-morning crashes and keeping hunger at bay until lunchtime.

Kellogg’s Fruit n Fibre is also a convenient breakfast choice for busy mornings. With its lightweight packaging and long shelf life, it can be easily stored in the pantry and enjoyed whenever hunger strikes. Simply pour a bowl of Fruit n Fibre, add milk, and you have a quick and nutritious breakfast that will keep you fueled for the day ahead.

For individuals with dietary restrictions or preferences, Fruit n Fibre is a suitable choice. It is made from whole grain wheat and is free from artificial additives, colors, and flavors. Additionally, it can be enjoyed by vegetarians and vegans, as it contains no animal-derived ingredients.

In conclusion, Kellogg’s Fruit n Fibre is a delicious and nutritious breakfast cereal that offers a winning combination of crunchy flakes, juicy fruits, and hearty nuts. With its high fiber content, balanced nutrient profile, and convenient packaging, Fruit n Fibre is a smart choice for anyone looking to start their day off right. Whether enjoyed with milk or eaten dry as a snack, Fruit n Fibre is sure to satisfy your hunger and your taste buds.

History:

In 1876, John Harvey Kellogg became the superintendent of the Battle Creek Sanitarium (originally the Western Health Reform Institute founded by Ellen White) and his brother, W. K. Kellogg, worked as the bookkeeper. This is where corn flakes were created and led to the eventual formation of the Kellogg Company.

For years, W. K. Kellogg assisted his brother in research to improve the vegetarian diet of the Battle Creek Sanitarium’s patients, especially in the search for wheat-based granola. The Kelloggs are best known for the invention of the famous breakfast cereal corn flakes.

The development of the flaked cereal in 1894 has been variously described by those involved: Ella Eaton Kellogg, John Harvey Kellogg, his younger brother Will Keith Kellogg, and other family members. There is considerable disagreement over who was involved in the discovery, and the role that they played.

It is generally agreed that upon being called out one night, John Kellogg left a batch of wheat-berry dough behind. Rather than throwing it out the following day, he sent it through the rollers and was surprised to obtain delicate flakes, which could then be baked
